Set ARIA labels for texts
To ensure that people with impaired vision also have access to your websites, pirobase CMS offers the option of maintaining ARIA labels in the editorial department.
What are ARIA labels?
ARIA labels are used to enable users with visual impairments to access the internet. ARIA labels assist in the proper interpretation of website elements with the aid of a screen reader, thereby contributing to the accessibility of websites.
An ARIA label is an attribute from the Accessible Rich Internet Applications (ARIA) technical specification developed by members of the Web Accessibility Initiative and is used for the accessible design of HTML elements.
When ARIA attributes are added to a markup element, this information can be recognized and read by assistive technologies.
Rights check for accessibility view
Appropriate rights are now required to display the accessibility view.
Adopting categories from page templates
When transferring a page template, its categories are now also transferred.
Inplace Editor with TinyMCE 3 and webadmin-shared removed
The Inplace Editor, which was still working with TinyMCE 3 and based on the DWR API, has been removed.
As a result, the webadmin-shared layout and the editcenter data source have also been expanded.
Supported platforms adapted
With each release, we evaluate the supported platforms based on customer feedback.
The following changes have been made:
