Innovations
You can get a good overview of the innovations with the innovations document:
Functional right for the "Create page tree" use case
The authorisation to create page trees can now be configured more granularly via functional rights and thus deactivated/activated for a community administrator if necessary.
Show category path in the editor
In the properties dialogue of content elements, the path in the category tree is now also displayed for categories. The path is also displayed in a tooltip on mouseover.

Conversion of PIM Connect to new PIM version + REST API
The PIM Connect add-on now supports the current PIM version and uses the PIM REST API.
Bug fixes in the area of security
There are various bug fixes and improvements in the area of security:
- External user repositories may contain HTML encodings in the user name. For this reason, the user name is now consistently escaped in the editorial office and the output.
- For some time now, it has been possible to create users who initially assign themselves a password by e-mail. However, if this is deactivated, a password must now be assigned to the user.
- Permitted paths can now be defined for file system data sources so that community administrators do not have complete access to the file system.
- In the data source GUI, set passwords are no longer transferred to the administration.
- Stack traces of error messages in the editorial office are now deactivated by default.
- The number of lower-case letters in the password can now also be configured for password validation.
Pre-compiled groovy templates
The base layout is now delivered with pre-compiled Groovy scripts.
This increases the performance of the layout start process and the initial availability of the templates.
Supported platforms adapted
With each release, we evaluate the supported platforms based on customer feedback.
